Santa Arrives in Cold Spring!

The evening of Friday, December 2nd officially marked the beginning of the Holiday Season in Cold Spring with the annual tree lighting and arrival of Santa Claus (escorted by CSFC of course)!  This years celebration was kicked off by dancing wooden soldiers from Hudson Valley Dance Studio, who entertained the large crowd as Santa was escorted down Main Street in his “sleigh.”  Upon arrival, Santa was led to the steps of the bandstand, where the toy soldiers lined the path and sang carols as Santa met throngs of children, took pictures and listened to Christmas wishes.

If you missed meeting Santa on Friday, our Ladies Auxiliary Santa breakfast will be held on December 18th from 8-11am at the Cold Spring Fire Company (154 Main Street), followed by the Annual Santa Run through the Village.

The volunteers of the Cold Spring Fire Company would like to wish everyone in the community a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
