Lights, Camera, Action!

On Wednesday May 4th members of the Cold Spring Fire Company had some surprise guests.  A film crew working on an upcoming episode of the BRAVO network show Work of Art stopped by the Fire Company headquarters on Main Street, where one of the contestants interviewed a few of the members, tried on some turnout gear, and took a tour of the building.  Here Assistant Chief Matt Steltz, Firefighter Rich Tomlins and Driver Jack Falloon answer questions about the history of the Company and what it’s like being a volunteer firefighter in a small town.  The basis of the show centers around artists who use a central theme for inspiration, then return to the studio to create works on their experiences.  The theme today was the “Norman Rockwellian small town” – one can only wonder what works of art will be produced after talking to these three!

The artwork will be revealed this coming Friday in NYC and the episode of Work of Art will debut on the BRAVO channel sometime in October.
