The Cold Spring Fire Company No. 1 is located in the Village of Cold Spring, Putnam County New York.  We proudly protect 3500 people living in an area of 5 square miles.  We operate out of 1 station and 1 sub-station which protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.  We have an ISO rating of 5.

The Cold Spring Fire Company has a total of 125 men and woman and are led by Chief Chris Tobin and President Michael Bowman.  We respond on approximately 150 calls per year providing fire protection to the residents of the Villages of Cold Spring, Nelsonville and the Philipstown/Cold Spring Fire District. Cold Spring Fire Goes Mutual Aid to Garrison for Two Car P.I.A.A.

Cold Spring Fire Company’s 2-2 was on scene assisting firefighters from Garrison on a two car P.I.A.A. along 9D.
The occupants of both vehicles were transported to local hospitals by the Garrison Volunteer Ambulance.

Sneak Preview of the new 2-1!

The Cold Spring Fire Company No. 1 is eagerly awaiting delivery of our new pumper/rescue, designated the new 2-1. 
The 2010 Smeal/Spartan replaces the former 1988 Rescue (6-1) and our 1981 Pumper (2-1).
More to come as the delivery date approaches!

Cold Spring Fire Mutual Aid for 4-Vehicle PIAA

PHILIPSTOWN — One driver was flown to Westchester Medical Center and the busy intersection of Routes 9 and 301 was closed for hours following a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.
